ImpelPro was born out of frustration—plain and simple.
Eddie Protzeller, a longtime tugboat mechanic, had spent years struggling with impeller changes. Existing tools were either poorly designed, difficult to use, or flat-out ineffective. He knew there had to be a better way. That’s when Eddie decided to create the impeller puller he always wished existed.
After seeing how much time and stress it saved him, Eddie teamed up with a few like-minded folks to bring it to other boaters and marine professionals.
At our core, we believe maintenance should be simple, tools should work the first time, and boaters should feel confident doing the work themselves. That’s why every ImpelPro tool is designed with real-world use in mind—tested, refined, and built to last.
